Sup Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how DPM Ventures Group ("Sup," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Sup app and website (the "Service"). Sup is an anonymous social dining service that seats you at a table with a small group of people you have not met before.
By using Sup, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Who this applies to
Sup is only for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us at dpmventuresgroup@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details such as your email address and, if you provide it, your first name.
- Your answers to the questions we ask when you join, which may cover your interests, preferences, and the kind of company you enjoy. We use these to match you with a table.
- Your city and the nights or areas that work for you.
- Payment information if you subscribe. [Payments are processed by [Apple / Stripe / OTHER]; we do not store full card numbers.]
- Anything you send us directly, such as support messages, reports about another diner, or feedback.
Information we collect automatically
- Approximate location, so we can match you to dinners near you. [Confirm whether you use precise device location or only the city the user enters.]
- Device and usage information, such as device type, operating system, app version, and how you interact with the Service.
- Basic analytics collected through [ANALYTICS PROVIDER, e.g. none / a privacy-focused tool].
Information from others
- If you sign in or pay through a third party such as Apple, we receive limited information from that provider as described in their terms.
How we use your information
- To create and run your account.
- To match you with a small group of diners and to book and manage tables.
- To process subscriptions and payments.
- To keep the Service safe: to prevent fraud and abuse, to review reports, and to remove people who break our rules.
- To contact you about your matches, your account, and important updates.
- To improve the Service and understand how it is used.
- To meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.
What other diners can see
Sup is built around anonymity. Other people at your table do not see your profile, your answers, your photos, or your contact details through the app. Before or at a dinner we may share only what is needed to make the introduction work, such as a first name. After a dinner, you decide whether to share your own contact details with anyone you met. We never share them for you without your choice.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:
- Service providers who work for us, such as our hosting, payment, email, and restaurant-booking partners, and only for those purposes.
- Safety and legal reasons, when we believe sharing is needed to comply with the law, respond to a legal request, protect someone's safety, or investigate abuse of the Service.
- A business transfer, if Sup is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will let you know.
Location
We use location to connect you with dinners near you. [If you use device location: You can turn off precise location in your device settings; if you do, we will use the city you enter instead, and some features may not work as well.]
How long we keep your information
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, safety, and record-keeping needs. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time (see below).
Your choices and rights
- Access and deletion: You can ask us for a copy of your information or ask us to delete it by emailing dpmventuresgroup@gmail.com or using the in-app account settings.
- Email: You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. We will still send you essential messages about your dinners and account.
- California residents: California law gives you rights to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or "share" your personal information as those terms are defined under California law. To make a request, contact dpmventuresgroup@gmail.com.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will let you know through the app, the website, or by email. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
